The Daily Lives of the Amazons
Daily life for the Amazon peoples entailed many different traditions and tasks. The people of the Amazon have perfected their existence with their natural habitats. Throughout the ages these individuals have strived to become one with their surroundings and reach the perfect pinnacle of harmony with nature. The individual living in the Amazon culture would engage in extensive religious worship daily. This daily worship would be expressed throughout the year in festivals and celebrations of the gods.
Amazon daily life also consisted of foraging and hunting duties. This would be performed by the more able and stronger members of the tribe. Since the overall culture of the Amazon people is one of sharing and aiding others, these hunts would be distributed by the elder members of the tribe to every member of the tribe. This assured that both the youngest and the oldest citizens were cared for and protected.
The Amazons were also known for being fiercely protective of their regions. For this reason some of the more agile and younger members of the tribe would engage in daily training. This training would teach these young men the ways in which to protect the tribe while still remaining in harmony with nature.
